N° 03½ — What It's Like

A conversation, first. Then a plan. Then a build.

Chad walks the space with you and — if you have one — your interior designer. He listens more than he presents. He asks how you actually use the kitchen on a Wednesday morning, where your husband drops the mail, whether you take baths or leave the tub decorative. By the end of the ninety-minute walk, you'll know the scope, the realistic budget band, and whether we're a fit.

N° 05 — Craft Standards

The site stays clean. The finished areas stay protected. The schedule stays on rails.

The truest measure of a builder isn't the reveal photograph — it's what the site looks like on the sixth Tuesday of construction, when the family is still living upstairs. Chad walks every active site every week. Every crew is briefed on the same protection standards. Floors covered. Dust contained. Finished millwork wrapped. Nightly cleanup. Photographs, not promises.

Stair treads wrapped in ram-board and taped along every edge — Swanson's standard protection while construction traffic runs upstairs.
Stair treads. Wrapped edge-to-edge.
Dust-control specialist vacuuming a covered staircase mid-project — negative-air and HEPA vacuum treatment daily.
Dust containment. Negative-air, HEPA daily.
A stone chimney breast wrapped in plastic protection during adjacent trades' work — Swanson's finished-area barrier standard.
Finished areas. Sealed while other trades work.
A completed white kitchen and adjacent great room with floor protection drop cloths still in place before final walkthrough.
Through walkthrough. Protection stays down to the last hour.

Every photograph above is from an active Swanson site — not a stock library.
